Delicious wine. Dark fruit and cocoa on the nose with hints of baking spices. From magnum. Lovely.

This is a PG13wine but with a finish like the ultimate classic .. almost like a 16 time winner and looks like forum blue & Gold - sophisticated like the Lakers

Wow, bold fruity but not over powering. Excellent linger on the palette. Really awesome Paul Hobbs vintage

Very chewy. Huge fruit. A bit brutish at this stage the fruit is real but needs some time

Paul Hobbs' flagship wine, this 2006 is terrific. WAY too young - if you have it I suggest waiting for several more years or give it 2+ hours of decanting. Intense nose of cassis, black currants, a hint of vanilla as well as chocolate (something I always seem to pick up in Hobbs' wines). Full bodied on the palate, but definitely closed due to its (comparative) youth. We'll probably finish the bottle before this wine really starts to sing, but it's an absolute classic example of a stellar Napa cabernet.
