Bad pic, but amazing bottle..all the players here...blackcherry/blackberries, mint, jalapeño, bell pepper, tannin everywhere yet well integrated and acid holding it all together...just what I like...

My favorite Beckstoffer Vineyard, and one of the best representations of it. Outstanding balance, lovely fruit and acidity, strong tannins, rich and full on the palate with a nice long finish.

When I think Dr. Crane the first thing that comes to mind is graphite and the graphite component on the Hobbs comes through in full effect here. I catch some toasted oak, cassis, dark chocolate and something sweeter like date or fig. This is a silky wine with polish to spare.

Our monthly 4th Friday event at the storage facility. No requirements, just wine you want to share with others! Always an enjoyable time.

I think I prefer Dr Crane over To-Kalon fruit. The sheer raw power of Dr Crane alongside the smoky, cocoa, dark chocolate notes make this wine divine. Pulled out the '06 a few months ago and it's hard to tell them apart! Thanks Joe!

Creme d'cassis, licorice, graphite, black cherry, blueberry and black tea aromas and flavors. Full bodied, the palate fans out elegantly over the palate. The wine is concentrated, persistent but without the weight the heady nose suggests, especially for a 2003.
