Lime, gooseberry, bell pepper, basil, asparagus. Overwhelmingly herbal/vegetal without much primary fruit or complexity overall. A fine everyday wine for summer.

This is a pretty nerdy Sancerre. It definitely is showing a funny little funk on the nose that is consistent on the palate-- but that doesn't distract from the bright acidity or minerality. Cement tank fermented in the traditional fashion.
Over delivers for the price. Small production with just 12 hectares of vines planted in the 80's.
