I don't understand. I've been cellaring this one for more than 5 years, it has a kilo of sediment in the bottle, and it STILL has a Sahara desert of tannins. Despite the fact that I wish I had held on longer, the wine is glorious. Velvety texture with full plum and earth. Black cherry.

2003. Medium ruby color with a cloudy/hazy aspect. Nose of sweet fruit and charcoal. On the palate its big, ripe and roasted, but not alcoholic. This is CdP by way of Australia...in a good way...

This one was interesting. When I poured it I thought I was in trouble. Color was a little cloudy and expected to pour it down the drain. I’m glad I didn’t. The nose was gorgeous bursting from the glass with sweet fruit and spice The palate is silky smooth and bursting as well into a wonderful cdp Grenache blend. Really good and really surprising.

Delicious. Opened it for the birthday. Let it breathe for a few hours and still needed some more time. Heavy tannin. Charcoal. Plum. A bit of cherry. Nice full bodied velvety deliciousness.

A decent CdP with herbal and dark fruit characteristics. A little heavy on the alcohol, which carries through in the finish (which is too short IMO).

Super herbal, fresher than it seems and full of fruit. Decant this guy to let it open up. On opening, lots of iron and herbs.

Deep dark beast, poured in my big chalice with chantings of Cthulhu! Cigar leaf, roasted plum, beet. Earthy! One for a special occasion.
