Sensation du Nord Vin de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah

Brambly blackberries. Hint of pepper and meatiness. Fantastic acidic energy. Perfect with flank steak and charred scallions. Great bang for your buck.

Very serviceable but not too complex. If only I were a fan of upper middle class Syrah.

Oof. This is not what I was expecting. Kind of disjointed and oaky. Nothing close to a Northern Rhone Syrah. The nose had promise, but totally buried. Meh.
