Brambly blackberries. Hint of pepper and meatiness. Fantastic acidic energy. Perfect with flank steak and charred scallions. Great bang for your buck.

Definitely provides a “sensation” of the northern Rhône with its meaty, peppery black fruit, herbs and flowers but in an elegant package

Such a delicious value. This vintage is ripe and fruity to start with lots of violets and just a hint of black pepper. Earth shows with some air.

Very serviceable but not too complex. If only I were a fan of upper middle class Syrah.

Really nice Northern Rhône VdP Syrah. Typical nose of dried flowers and black fruit. In the mouth, dark fruits and minerality. Good grip and length. Much better that the 2014 I had previously. Great QPR

When opened it had strong, off smells and was nearly undrinkable. It took hours to turn into a beautiful wine, and the next day was lush in fruit dimension and sharp with acidity. Whew, patience.

Oof. This is not what I was expecting. Kind of disjointed and oaky. Nothing close to a Northern Rhone Syrah. The nose had promise, but totally buried. Meh.
