Great example of a winemaker taking what the vintage gave her. Extroverted fruit and spice with a California-like weight.

Super sappy and has some residual sweetness. Crowd pleaser, but candy red berry is distracting after awhile

Super solid value Willamette Pinot! Cranberry and pomegranate red fruit that's juicy and lush without really being overripe, rose, hibiscus and potpourri floral character, understated and subtle anise and clove spice, bit of mushroom umami, plus some of that classic almost smoky, damp forest floor/rotting leaves that you get with good cold-climate Pinots. Quite softly textured with tannin that's a bit more assertive than typical but very fine and silky, with a bit more body than most Oregon Pinots I've had, but without feeling too extracted. Refinded layers of healthy, focused acidity bring it all home. Really great stuff and would definitely benefit from a short term cellaring.
