Ruby with aromas of red and black fruits, cola and spice, sourced from several sites. The palate shows tart cherry and raspberry flavors with, tea, cola earthy tones. Medium finish, drying tannins, ok balance, ending with earthy spice notes. Just ok, tried several vintages, just not a fan, better Pinots out there.

2020 vintage. Very red-fruited and spicy. Red currant, pomegranate, crab apple, cranberry, violet, black tea, cassia, white pepper, dried sage, hibiscus. No hint of smoke taint, which is awesome.

Purple, moderately to highly extracted pigment. Raspberry and blackberry notes in nose with a hint of prune. Blackberry flavor with great depth and length, occasional hint of raspberry, good acidity, finish of blueberry seeds and blackberry pulp and rasps. Raspberry and blackberry aftertaste with a touch of seed bitterness. A lot going on here from the initial pour. Paired well with a homemade mushroom lasagna, not too rich or creamy.

Damn good, honest and soulful Pinot Noir. High-pitched fresh, floral aromas of peony, crunchy red berries, Asian spice and turned earth. Great acidity and sweet tannins. I was sad to learn this was Patty’s final vintage.

I really like the look of this Pinot. A nice clear ruby red in color. The nose is fresh and lively with burgundian notes, red fruit, some eucalyptus with some hints of oak and rich forest soil. My palate is singing with strawberries, raspberries, with a nice acidity. I am truly enjoying this Pinot from Oregon. I'm beginning to find the Willamette Valley tickling my Burgundian senses!

The winemaker for PG has referred to the 2018 vintage as the best raw material they’ve ever seen. With the gravitas of this producer and their previous work at Torii Mor & other places, that’s high praise. If this entry level cuvée is a good indicator, then look out. Great power & finesse already and a simply enchanting nose. Few producers cover Oregon as completely as Patricia Green and you can taste the deft hand behind this vintage and bottling. Get some.
