a Premier Cru import actually received, it’s a beautiful bottle. Virtually no ullage, it’s a dark plum color that hints at the dark Vosne fruit. A spicy nose of plums and black tea, there’s outstanding thickness and depth to the soft texture, very dark-fruited, still no tertiary elements and no game, gentle tannins, a long life ahead. Really pretty wine. My first experience with this Rion, it’s an excellent Suchots.
