Even though I love Sicilian wine, this is the first time I've actually had this producer! It's fantastic too. Lot's of herbal, red fruit notes. Not as funky as COS but has energy and vibrancy in spades.

I’ll lead off the 2015 vintage for delectable for Passorosso - one of the few standard bearers for entry level Etna Rosso - a blend of vineyards that are usually 75+ years old at close to 800 M asl - 2015 is not as concentrated or meditative as 2014, 2012, or 2011, but this a perfumed playful wine with classic Etna cherry followed by a mineral backbone with some funkity funk to finish. #volcanicfunk
