I feel like I'm killing a baby with this one but wow - it was 35€ on a local restaurant list - (although I'm pretty sure I asked for the lower altitude, less prestigious Contrada C which should be at a lower price point). This wine is from a ridiculously great vintage - from Franchetti's highest Cru - 1000 m ASL with 100 year old vines - aromas of sandalwood, rose, earth, and overall really just volcanic funk to the max. Incredible 🙏🏽🍷🌋 #volcanicfunk
