Maybe our bottle was off or we kept it too long due to the other ratings, but the smell was very mildew-y and the taste was off. We kept it a day to try again and it smelled worse, but the taste mellowed out and was definitely better, but still 8.7

Delicious. Decanted for an hour and a half. Aromas of menthol and stony red fruits. Transparent ruby. Savory profile of herbs, tannins, and minerals. Lovely.
