Passopisciaro brings out the more floral elements of Etna Rosso. Very elegant and smooth.

Blinded as Barolo. Tannic, ripe, rich, and hella fuckin' delicious. Full of flavor but not over the top.

Very perfumed. Aromatics jump out of the glass. Talcum, powdered sugar, licorice whips, juicy red fruits, sweet spices, again very soft tannin and plush acid. Very similar to P. noir with its structure and round presence on the palate. For me this had so many wild aromas that remind me of the Rhône.

2012 vintage. Super good stuff. Translucent ruby color. Sour cherries on the palate, with spicy notes. Lots of acidity, and a brilliant food wine. More concentrated than the Passo blend I had the other night
