Del Mono Tinto Malbec Syrah

Lovely 50-50 blend, no oak, lots of good fruit, but also smoky and pepper. Maybe some honey too. Easy to drink, not too tannic.

Great Blend, I like it…. Oddly it worked well with Halibut for the Halibut

Pop and pour through an aerator.

NOSE: cocoa, barbecue, baking spices, clay, a slight grapiness.
TASTE: as the nose, but fruitier. Medium weight. Tannins give the impression of bitter dark chocolate. Impression is too sweet for me, but a good deal for what I paid for it. 88.

This Malbec Syrah blend is heavily influenced by the Syrah. Ok as a dinner wine. March 2023.

Very drinkable

I poured it out. I think it went bad. Legit taste rotten

Raspberry/Blackberry with green bell pepper aroma, mixed with black pepper spice and tobacco leaf bouquet. Medium tannin, medium acidity. Medium purple color.
