Medium ruby . Slightly high toned , more red fruits , raspberry, blackberry and red cherry , touch of spice , after a while a more meaty character, spiced orange rind . Blackberry coulis , raspberry on the palate , ok acidity quite rounded tannins . Ok length , a bit sweet. This probably could go a bit further , another 5 years and then plateau for a further 5.

Apr 17th, 2023One of the joys of working from home is eating and drinking well. As expected, this Malbec paired perfectly with both a chorizo shashouka and before that, an excellent Margaret River ribeye. Deep ruby color, nose of blackberries, plums and chocolate. More fruity than usual, little to no tones of oak.
