Relative harsh and rough. Quite tannic with mostly raspberry more than cherry. Chalky with plenty of tannins left! I would keep this 2 more years or so but i have low expectations for sudden brilliance. If you want surprises buy German Pinot's from Lyle Fass via E-mail.

In your face vanilla and then dark cherry. Good amount of tannins left this needs more time. Nice but not overly complex. Raspberry tart in the glass.
However this could be very good in 3 more years.
