Heavy body with no backbone - almost bright & citrusy enough to be refreshing, but too viscous to be enjoyable. Wish I’d spent the $10 others have posted instead of the $18 I did!!

... Watermelon, pineapple, green pear, fennel, anise, light bodied, low tanning, crisp delight with a bitter herb finish that add personality and nerve ... No Much ! But just enough ... this particular “manchego” is somehow more inclined to the sweet fruits that other wines from the region ... If I got to guess the reason, I may think that this “manchego” may have been infused with “Portuguese” grapes known as verdelho... just maybe ... If that is the case looks like a good marriage.
