Heavy body with no backbone - almost bright & citrusy enough to be refreshing, but too viscous to be enjoyable. Wish I’d spent the $10 others have posted instead of the $18 I did!! — 5 years ago
Wild and wooly! Dill pickles and cotton candy. — 5 years ago
Pretty rough right out of the bottle, like a not-so-fresh white grapefruit juice, but after letting it sit for 24 hours it mellowed out and some great honey, yeast, and cream notes mixed in with the still bright citrus for a few enjoyable glasses. For $15, I’d give it another go. — 5 years ago
Fresh laundry, apple-crisp nose with a body that’s somehow almost effervescent while still remaining creamy. Citrus, white peach, and lively tart berry flavors with a whiff of cotton candy. Haven’t had a California white this solid in a while. — 5 years ago
Brioche and Challa, butterscotch, rum, cantaloupe and pear, pine forest and dry leaves, green bell pepper. — 5 years ago
Think this might have been corked, but it’s such an unconventional wine that it was hard to tell. Initially it tasted like straight up apple cider vinegar, but it settled somewhat after an hour or so and opened up to some lively tart honeycrisp citrusy herb flavors. Might try another bottle, I dunno. An unpleasant start to the evening with our takeout hotel room dinner either way. — 5 years ago
