This was a grape I have never tried, sumoll. Unique, fun. Cherry popsicle, cranberry, light body, light tannin finish. I’m drinking this in hot humid weather, serve slightly chilled for best of results.

This “sus scofa” is sourced from two organic vineyards in Panedés. Hand harvested and destemmed, with spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel before 4 months of cement aging. A vinification meant to showcase absolute purity of fruit. Job well done. This is adult cherry coke. The nose was cherry, a touch of funky saddle, and a hint of floral. The palate showed bing cherry soda pop with a nice acid lift. It is pure and delicious juice. It made me want to go for a burger, wash it down with this and then go play some arcade games.
