Parador Cellars
Reserva Napa Valley Red Blend
Dense, intense, black olive tapenade, motor oil, black fruit, tannic, charred oak, extracted. A unique wine. Could age another 15 yr!

May 23rd, 2015delicious stuff from Parador Cellars. Ripe & juicy with just enough minerality to keep things interesting.

Dec 11th, 2014California blend from 2005. Drank one glass and decided to hold off on the rest, tastes very ripe, may need to decant. Good, smooth flavor up front but not great on the back. I'll happy drink the 4 bottles I have, but would not buy again.

Apr 28th, 2020Sourcing their fruit from Hossfeld Vineyards which suffered substantial losses in the fire of 2017, this high altitude 2/3 tempranillo 1/3 Cabernet from Parador is very unique and went perfectly with smoked paprika pulled pork sandwiches! This wine poured a dark crimson with purple edges. Nose of smoky blackberry and sweet fruit opulence. Palate is brambly and reminiscent of a young Vega Sicilia which is leathery, smoky, Blackberry and drunken black cherry-rich. Middle has a fair amount of earthy, soil driven tar and ashy loam. Finishes with good acidity which danced well with the pork and stood alone quite well. A baby, but very curious about this wine. Well made and hope to acquire future vintages!

Feb 7th, 2019This is a blockbuster vintage of this blend. Absolutely perfect time to drink. Mature w/ beautiful texture and nose. Takes only minutes to open and improves for an hour or more. Exceptional wine for the $ especially.

Apr 19th, 2016Excellent value, well balanced Tuscan styled wine from Napa. Love this blend. Sure this can fool good som's in a blind on location and I'd bet vintage too. Great overall with a beautiful feel and finish. Home run at the price point for $27-30 release.
