I was kind of wondering if maybe this one was a little bit late to the show. Even after two hours of air, I think this one probably has another five to 10 years left. The nose is a very youthful purple fruit and black cherry with some very secondary notes showing a tiny bit of age. The wine pours fairly dark. The entry of this wine is quite a bit subtle, but still very full throttled old black cherry. The middle is where this one shines. Has a lot of density to it. Finishes with some Wildflower influence. This one isn't going anywhere for a while. Taking a turn for the dark side, so if you have this one, and the darker side of Cab Franc is more your style, you will be very pleased with this one in probably a year or two. Definitely thought this was heading down the tubes but surely mistaken!
