A lush full bodied Cabernet with hints of tobacco, red fruit and a hint of pepper. Wonderful mouth feel and a lingering aftertaste. Served a1.5 L with ribs, beans and potatoes. Great summer meal to go with a great wine!

17 years old, this wine held up exceptionally well. I'm not a big fan of wines this old (hence the low score) but this went well with the wonderful short rib dish. A Heidi Barrett project.
