Retsina of Mesogaia Savatiano

Drinking this on set for Travel Channel! It's amazing and the pine resin flavor really comes through! A new staple!

Very good rendition

Best Retsina I ever had. You can feel a touch of pine... But all the delicious fruit of the Savatiano grape gives the wine a long and pleasant finish.

First time with a new style Retsina. Much more refined and clean than your traditional table Retsina. Resin on the nose. Citrus and pine throughout. And it packs quite a chartreuse-like bite at the end! Worth the experience.

Good if you want a more refined retsina. Little resin in the bouquet and in the front. I realize I prefer cheaper retsina to remind me of the Greek countryside.

Très atypique ! La résine de pin est très reconnaissable tant au nez qu'en bouche. Je regrette juste de ne pas pouvoir trouver d'autres arômes tant la résine est au dessus de tout. Mais c'est sans doute parce que je manque d'entraînement.
