Tawny, doesn’t look young. Barely translucent. Great nose. Notes of soy, roses, dark fruit, wood, and some molasses that develops with air. Still has some acidity and tannin, but with 4 hours of air this softens nicely. Good stuff.

Hitting spots today! Still has all kinds of hot tannic action but tasty red/black fruit. Definitely a winner.

Lovely wine shared by close friends for Christmas dinner. Perhaps it could have used a few more years, as the nose was not as expressive as hoped. Possibly eclipsed by the Vega Sicilia Valbuena '95 that preceded? Very good but missing some flourish

Just lovely. Nose of cherry pie, extremely dry and tanic, with the finish of dark chocolate.

Rich nose with notes of leather and licorice. Full bodied, rich, potent, strong tannins, long aromatic finnish. Will develop further with some years in the cellar.
