Holy this wine. Bea is after all the first three letters of beautiful. The tannins, the flowers the holy you snuck a tomato into that fermenting vat right? notes of this that scream Sangiovese are balanced by the...crunch? The crunch yes of Sagrantino and Montepulciano. Beyond the balsamic laced tomato plate is an earth covered cherry. It is full still graceful. This one is a muscular dancer. Far too easy to gulp but is that so wrong?

Intense. Dark fruited/boysenberry, tannic, but with a nice acidic lift. Cigar box notes almost reminiscent of (dare I say) Zin.

As good as the reviews say. Drank the 2010 8/2018. Delicious, but certainly could have sat for another 2-4yrs no problem.

2010 is a walk on the dark fruit side, deep and rich, drink now to get the full face punch.
