Very like G. Conterno's Cascina Francia Barbera...not quite as tannic, but with a similar acidic-grape-drink-for-discerning-grown-ups vibe. I can't wait to have this with a burger.

Very american in style. Overripe cherries and a hint of tar. I'd like to revisit in a few more years. Not my style far.

Cali Barbera with fresh ripe slightly sour fruit--very little tannins. Juicy and balanced even with 13.5% alc. Makes me wonder why more American winemakers don't give Barbera a shot.
