"Little Rascal" Honea Vineyard Arneis

So light and lovely...a little floral, citrus, and a spark of something else that's just right. Like a little rascal! We opened this in honor of my Mom since it's the one year anniversary of her death. I bought this with my Mom in Solvang a month before she passed, so it was the perfect time.

Upon opening wine shows flinty, matchstick and oaky... After opening wine shows more specific yeast flavor with nice wet gravel/cement. At least that's what I'm thinking.

Stainless and neutral oak. Mouthwatering candy pear. Floral nose. Concentrated.

Charcuterie brings out all the notes of fruit and flavors...opened again in honor of my Mom ❤

Another terrific white wine from Steve Clifton at Palmina. IMO, the best italian varietal-based wine outside of Italy. Period.

Complex fruit, good acidity with cheese crostini and frisée

Older vintage (2012) but body is still relatively holding up. Some slate with Asian Pear and honeysuckle.

Light refreshing and an end to an excellent day. Flora notes with citrus & pear.

Opened this last night - still drinking well. Doesn't have the acidity I was expecting (didn't last night, either), but it's still very good. For the record, Palmina makes the best Italian varietal-based wines in the U.S. Period.

This crisp little rascal with hints of honey and lemon is balanced and very enjoyable.
