The Xanax of wine. Everything you could possibly want a rosé to be. Before I took my first sip I was contemplating why I attract psychos, and after one glass I was thinking about what a luxurious, fascinating woman I am. Perhaps like the first line of coke as a wine? A breath of fresh air that you can chase and be fulfilled by until the last drop. Ethereal yet floral, beachy but tastes of altitude. Mountain tips with temples. A teacher once told me, a poet should know a little bit about everything. This wine is a little bit of everything. Not proud, but enlightened enough to inspire the best of lives. Bravo again, Palmina.

I've been on a rosé kick all summer long. They are tough to find (the good ones, that is). Every time I find one I like, I can't find it again to repurchase. So I was delighted to discover Botasea at my new favorite wine bar, Corkbuzz. Silky smooth strawberry essence, but not overly sweet. Loved it with scallops.
