Right bank red. 68% merlot, 22% cabernet franc, 10% cab sauv. A different fruit than the endless napa cabs we drink. Bright red fruits, but that big dose of cab franc drives richness. Showing no secondary development at this stage and a couple hour decant is recommended.

Showstopper and absolutely divine. A little heavier on the Merlot than I typically like but it blends fantastically and after an hour it was glorious.

2005 Palazzo Napa Merlot/Cab Franc/Cab. Pretty aromas with pleasant secondary characteristics emerging. Primary fruit fading. Some VA actually carrying what fruit is left. Nice wine, but time not helping it. Time to drink up.
