Barolo Nebbiolo

Terrific nose. Tobacco, roses, Cuban cigar, mid season cherries, loads of dried earth, mixed with cherries, mid season and sour cherry mix. Awesome haunting nose. Palate has that terrific opulent fruit that is a signature of 2013. Gorgeous. So pure. So juicy and clean with great freshness. Velvety and lively tannins and acid. Killer fruit and just such a great value. Long.

Nose: tobacco. Maybe some cherry cough syrup. Black cherry. Palate: deep cherry. Juicy. Palate staining. Ass kicking. Very good depth and density. Long.

Young but quite good.

A little catch up. Solid Barolo which checks all the boxes one expects. Very well balanced & leans more to the finesse elegance side of things.
