Ok. I loved this. But many at the table complained of the excessive alcohol-y aroma. At 15% I guess that’s fair.  I still loved it. I found it to be full bodied, balanced, complex. Lots of aromas and flavors of roasted tomatoes, black pepper, plum, smoke. Pretty strong tannins.

Great window here, love the '99 Brunellos. Still hearty Tuscan fruit and very little tannin. Drink 'em now.

Beautiful stuff - perhaps a little light for a Brunello, but still earthy Sangiovese goodness.
