Pahlmeyer
Jayson Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Showy Cali Cab. Probably should have waited 10 years for this to soften to my palate. But had some nice blackberry undertones along with the new oak.

Nose: slight fruit and a little vegetal
Palate: lovely silk tannins and body full definitely opens up with more open
Opinion: in a few years this would be incredible, not sure it makes it to the pahlmeyer merlot status though

Bodacious Cab with tobacco and dark earth on the nose. Big sweet plum on mid palate. Like my finish...where's my baby back ribs?

May 24th, 2015No surprise here: Big, bodacious, berryliscious beauty of a wine from #Pahlmeyer: Sweet prune, smokey, touch of eucalyptus.

Dec 30th, 2014A really wonderful vintage . Smooth, no acid, no aftertastes. Pure berries and plums

Dec 17th, 2019Deep purple color. Black fruit on the nose. Smooth, but somewhat underwhelming. A fan of fruity cabs will enjoy this one. Pahlmeyers always seem to be too much of a fruit bomb for my taste and this one was no different.
