Monthly WTF wine group meet up.

Violet, black cherry, bruised plum, and a dark chocolate covered cherry on the nose. Gorgeous aromatics and mouthfeel. Toasted oak, baked mixed berry pie, and clove. Incredibly plush and inviting, so no problem popping these now.

Friday night and I have picked up the 2015 Pahlmeyer Jayson Red Bordeaux Blend. This blend is made up of 83.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9.5% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot, 2.5% Malbec and .5% Petit Verdot. Welcome to the weekend!

This is a very aromatic wine with notes of blackberry, black cherry, black currant, violet, black pepper, tar, anise, mocha, smokey oak and sweet earth.

The palate reveals notes of black cherry, blackberry, juicy ripe black plum, black currant, dried herbs, clove, anise, black pepper, chocolate, and crushed gravel.

This is a full bodied fleshy wine with medium + acidity and medium to + soft smooth tannins that leads to a long dense finish. This is ready to pop and poor, ready to drink today. They say it was made to be drunk right away. Well, today starts the weekend and I hope everyone has enjoys every minute of it with relaxation and more wine. Be safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Bottle two. Crowd pleaser. Reliable. Another fruit-forward wine. Paired well with the abundance of steak.
