Dark blueberry smell that is very inviting. Soft tannins that are inviting. And a fruity soft taste. Good probably with strong cheese or ham. 2009 Vintage

Trader Joe's, ~$10
Medium transparency, dark cherry red color. Red fruit and spice nose. Fairly full bodied and dry but with a semi sweet fruit and baking spice flavor. A little sharpness on the tongue but not in an overly acidic or astringent way. Silky smooth. Not typically a big Tempranillo fan but it's so smooth for the price that I enjoyed it despite being a bit dry and full bodied for my tastes.
