Oyster Bay
Marlborough Chardonnay

I felt like a Chardonnay this afternoon and it is from NZ. This wine as does most of the wines down under have a screw top. At first crack on the nose I am getting citrus notes, lemon, pineapple, white flowers, a bit of minerality, vanilla, Creme Brûlée, and some butter. On the palate I am getting passion fruit, pineapple, lemon zest, wet flint rock, and an oily mouth feel. There is a Med + acidity and a long nice finish, very crisp and fresh. Let me tell you at $9.99 what I paid Oyster Bay has a winner. I like there Pinot Noir and the Chardonnay is a great QPR.

Our weekend afternoon quaffing wine. Lovely new world Chardonnay with an assertive flavor.

Not a big fan of Chardonnay, but this was refreshing, kind of citrussy and pretty good. I would buy again for a solid summer wine

Fantastic Smooth Chard from Oceania. Pleasantly silky smooth with just the right touch of green apple & citrusy notes. In a word: splendid!

Aug 23rd, 2015(£10.99) I've never been a white wine lover, unless on occasions to follow with fish dishes if beer was out of option.
The first time I had to purchase a white wine to accompany me to a friend's house who was preparing an prawn dish, I spent 30min at a local Waitrose scattering through the white wine collection. I observe the graphic design and the presentation of the bottles, to regions and years! Somehow this particular white wine drew my attention and since I was very late I just took it with. I must say it was delicious and semi dry. The fruity taste gives you an uplifting feeling.
Months later at a new years sinner table and the traditional fish dish, all four of us started with this marvelous white wine and ended with six empty buttles.
