Notes of red fruits, pepper, and tea leaf on the nose, and creamy strawberry raspberry sorbet, elegant and yet maintaining intensity in fruit; a great example of Los Carneros!

Pretty nose. Earthy spice, black tea and light red berries. Palate is subtle and delicate with fresh acidity. However, a little lacking in flavor intensity and finish. Not bad with a bowl of pasta with a bacon 3 cheese blush sauce.

Seemed as if I was drinking a New Zealand Pinot Noir. exuberant freshness, wild blueberries, clover, rhubarb on the nose. Lots of acidity, med body. Fun to drink, but would be hard-pressed to identify as Carneros.

I really want to rate this wine higher. It was one of the few new world Pinots that I really like. The flavors were great but lack the mushroom and earthiness I love from great burgundy. The flavors were just a little too diffuse to score higher.

"Very worthwhile if you can pick it up for $15-$20. Smooth and well balanced. Moderate aroma with cherry and strawberry. A little bit of herb on the finish. Tannins and acid seem balanced... I'd drink now. Would buy again."
