Jan 13th, 2017I wasn't crazy about this bottle - I struggled to find enjoyable flavors, tar and petroleum dominated.

Jun 15th, 2016Just when you thought it was all over...
On the nose, the wine is slightly minty and spicy. Fruit is dominant. On the palette, the tight mountain fruit shone through. Blacurrants and blueberries bring a laser focus on the mid-palette - it's almost weightless. It finishes with super fine tannins. This wine has stood still and has retained much of its youthfulness. I'd love to take another look at this 10 years from now.

07' Very concentrated, we'll focused. A good decanting of 3 hours+. It's very much a left bank wine on the front of the palate. The fruit is sharp & driving into the back of your palate. Black & blue fruits are amazing. It's drinking for 15 -25 years!

Nov 8th, 2015Very dark ripe fruit. It will age for another 15+years! It is not a wine to pour for everyone. I would decant this for 2 to 3 hours before pouring.

May 24th, 2015Simply outstanding Napa Cab -- big and bold, w black cherry, milk chocolate, olive tapenade and a hint of coffee. While powerful this is also silky on the palate. Superb!
