A beautifully realized wine with all elements coming together in one voluptuous yet strong Cabernet (5% is merlot). Ripe dark cherries, dark chocolate, vanilla and nutmeg with black currants are complemented by smooth, integrated tannins and a surprisingly punchy acidity. Paired excellently with marinated and grilled flank steak. 2009 vintage and one to remember!

One of my favorites. What a succulent wine. Incredible after a 2 hour decant. Tight up front, but after time, juice, bold but not too heavy

Superb wine. Baking spices and leather behind bold fruit. Complex & silky smooth. Perfect with cheese and cured meat.

Feb 5th, 2016There is so much packed into this bottle that it's muddy. I'm pretty sure this style just isn't my bag. I also eat burgers and steaks about once a month maximum. If that's your thing on the daily you'd probably like this. Nevertheless I was surprised that underneath a whole lot of sun, wood, and hype, was a juicy freshness still supporting it, but Jesus this is just too much. Even the the chateauneuf I had next to it seemed dainty and elegant in comparison. Really tho, this review is my OPINION, take it with a grain of salt.
