Good flavor and an excellent value. Not going to blow anyone away, but it's a surprisingly good wine. Rich mouth feel, fairly full body. Some lingering heat from the high alcohol content.

This was a pleasing Zin, that went well with my grilled porterhouse. Kind of mellow and restrained

Most of the Zins I like have a good deal of spice. This one isn't spicy and tastes more like a mellow merlot. Pleasing, w a bit of fruit and an oaken finish. Good, basic pour. Nothing that will knock your socks off but very palatable.
