Interesting Tuscan blend of Syrah (50%), Cabernet Franc (35%) and Petite Verdot (15%). Dark (almost purple) color. Aromas and flavors of dark berries/currants with hints of dried herbs, white pepper and a hint of dark chocolate on the medium finish. Lots of mouth watering acidity. Moderate tannins. Solid value. top wine, so NOT elegant, but playing with a rural charme, syrah's sweet fruit and spiciness.
2008 is really good, grab the 2007 in case u can catch it!
