Olivier Jouan
La Riotte Vieilles Vignes Morey St. Denis 1er Cru Pinot Noir
Crazy tannins! Very intense wine. I think I will love it in ten years

Aug 14th, 2017Ripe-ish, a little stemmy, a little bloody. Polished. Showing a little development. Lovely texture.

Mar 31st, 20153rd time around on this and I'm calling decant and drink it within a 12 hour period or let it sit for a while longer. Just not showing what I know is there. So much bright freshness and black and blue berries.

Oct 31st, 2016Does not fail to deliver. With a little time this really sings. Massively complex and unique nose with a resounding lengthy finish as my tongue attempts to soak it up. Best value bottle in this city ☝🏼️

Aug 1st, 2015Dark and deep earthy intensity on the nose. Mad long finish. Resonating all kinds of noble candy delight. The wine is excellent.

Jul 18th, 2015Very interesting — bolder than usual, strong apple tart and a pinch of spice. Darker, richer ruby colour. If blind, I'd say this is some Russian River Pinot, very young and open, but with gracious Burgundy aftertaste and overall lightness and elegance. Definitely worth trying.
