Dark cherries or may be blackberries on the nose. I tried this the next day as it was left over from a tasting at Meritage in Encinitas. I like this wine but it is hard to drink now. I think it will turn out OK. Needs to mellow out elegant. Cherry undertone.

Lighter burgundy, great paired with Brie. Nothing I would write home about, but wouldn't mind having again.
