Beautiful nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, diet cola and chocolate notes.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black plums, currants, cherries, black coffee, cola, earth, light wood, black tea, licorice and black pepper.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a beautiful 17 year old Pinot Noir from Burgundy. Rich and elegant. Complex and entertaining.
Showing a beautiful nose, which I loved. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.
Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with some air time.
Delicious by itself as a sipping wine, or with food.

My battery died yesterday as I was uploading the wines that we poured. I picked this up based on Jason Chang's recommendation and it was stunning. My 1st OB but it definitely won't me my last! It was fun comparing the Pinot's.
