Les Cazetiers Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Ridiculously detailed and defined. Subtle yet striking. This does all the things.

Perfume and flowery, a little bit of earthy smell. Enchanting.

Still needs some time to settle into itself. But, that being said...I've never tasted a Pinot that felt so warm and cozy. The spices, warm earth, and bright cherry pie...wow. She's going to be beautiful

Dense black cherry and raspberry. Meaty notes. Good acidity on the finish.

I liked this. I usually don’t care for Olivier Bernstein’s wines due to the heavy handed oak treatment. The oak here was fully integrated. A nice surprise.

Had it right before Valentine’s Day. I still remember the taste and smell of it.

Really exhibit terroir.

Needs time. Maybe 5 years.
