As usual this Olga Raffault Chinon does not disappoint. It has just a bit of charming brett-y funk, and really pretty sour red fruit and tomato character that is just barely on the correct side of the ripe vs unripe fulcrum.

Oct 8th, 2015Lovely. Dried blackberries, dried roses, pepper, medicinal, graphite, dust, dried oranges... Soft and integrated on the pallet with loads of minerality - graphite and dust. Opens and fruit broadens with time in decanter. Bone dry with lovely acidity. Still has an edge of austerity so better with food.
