2017. The first vintage of Channery Hill that I’ve had that doesn’t have a significant percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. I love Old Westminster’s Cab Franc and Petit Verdot based wines, so I really enjoyed this blend with and after dinner while rooting on the USMNT!

2020. This vintage’s blend has a higher percentage (50%) of Cabernet Franc than previous vintages I’ve had, but I love their Cab Franc, so I’m more than OK with it. Really delicious wine.

2019. We decided to make it an even longer three day weekend and take the afternoon off to head up to Old Westminster Winery to pick up our allocation. The Channery Hill was my favorite today of the Just the Reds flight.

Rich velvety aroma. Raspberry brambles, cherries, plums, blueberry cobbler. Soft oaky roundness. Gentle tannins. Easy to drink. But complex enough to think about.. All right Virginia. #virginiaisforloverz

Jun 12th, 2021Lovely nose, dark red with a medium to full body that is complex with a medium to long aftertaste. My wife easily agreed to double the amount of bottles, which indicates a bargain for the $39 price, to which I agree. A winner.

Pretty impressed for the first time trying this Maryland winery. Light in color with a Long finish. Drank with smoked salmon hot dogs (Kim) and chicken spinach and feta brat (non-Kim). Gonna let in breath and finish with some chocolate in about an hour. #longweekend #
