Olaszliszka is one of my favorite villages in the Tokaj appellation. Historically settled by Burgundians in the 13th Century. Still a street named 'Burgundia.' Wine also delicious.

Impressive day one. Great balance of fleshy stone fruit and bracing acidity. Day 2 far more complex: much richer and basil scented. For $25 this is an insane value.

Crazy how great this wine was with the range of tastes at Slanted Door l, our server recommended it and it was fantastic. Broad and complex without the crutch of French oak, beautiful texture. I do this for a living and hands down the most interesting wine I have had this year!
