A post-dinner bottle with a prospective new Tastevin candidate, one of my best buddies.
Reminded us of OR Pinot Noir, but with more of a spicy, peppery not;, oak was notable but not intrusive, would love to see the bottle in 5-7Y post vintage.

I’m a big huge mega fan of Ochota. This wine has attitude and sass and carries it all off like...I don’t know maybe it’s the “the forest” name but it is like if goth-punk-pop went royal. All the red things: cherry compote rhubarb stew and some cracked peppercorn and dried branches and bramble and a texture of earth. Love it.

Tomato, balsamic, and morello cherry. Has a peppery plum bite in the finish- like succulent though- Washington state plums picked fresh. Light and airy but still makes its presence known- dope. Looooong finish
