Mountain Cab from Napa! Oh yeah, you can taste the altitude. Aromatic, light on its feet, but a knock out none the less. Great presence! The fruit, greenery, and spices really sing!

Ah, a taste of home. I'm a sucker for higher-altitude cabs from the mountains around the Napa area. This wine is big, with ripe blackberry, boysenberry, and plenty of spice. There's a nice acidity too that cuts the fruit. Grippy and tasty.

Unlike previous vintages, this wine is very approachable and enjoyable upon opening. Hard to find a better value at this price point IMO
