Obsidian Ridge Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Decent wine with dark rich color but not a very rich nose. Very fruity, hints of figs, oaky and a bit sweet, medium finish. A bit too alcohol-ee for my taste. Nicely pairs with medium rare meat and small round sweet tomatoes with salt, pepper and olive oil. But still everybody wants.

Less tannins and more body and my rating would have been much higher.

Earthy in flavor
Wanted something to drink without pairing with food - it is good(to me).

Soft tannins, slight pepper and black cherry, velvety finish. I love it!

Fantastic. Smooth, easy. Now one of my favorite cabs.

Not bad for the price. Firm tannins, lots of vanilla too (Taransaud or Ermitage cooperage???). Not bad for Lake Co.
