A shame I had higher hopes for this Napa Sauv Blanc. You’re hit with a ton of oak on the nose. Then sweet melon , cantaloupe, ripe guava. Super oaky on the palate. Mild acidity with more sweetness than any prefer. But if a recipe oak monster which is shocking for a sauv Blanc. Too bad. 14.5% and very clumsy wine.
